Do we supply materials?
Yes, we have a good supply of fabrics, yarns, needles, notions & patterns on hand
Do we deliver?
We have a few volunteers who donate their time to bring suplies to others in their neighbourhoods, we encourage all to make the trip to the office to be able to make their own choices of supplies.
Can I use my own materials?
Absolutely, and we appreciate your donation, if you keep your receipt we will be able to issue a tax receipt for the cost of the materials. Tax receipts are issued on January 15th (for the period between April to December of the previous tax year) and April 15 for Caring Hearts fiscal year end of March 31. Please contact 604-496-5045 for more information.
Where do the finished items go?
All items are delivered to local community service groups who help children in need. See the program listing on "Who we Help".
Do we have membership fees?
We have no fees, we only ask that you commit to completing items you take materials for.
Do we have meetings or learning sessions?
Although we have no set scheduled meetings or learning sessions, we always have a group of volunteers at the office during opened hours willing to share tips & tricks.
